In this webinar hosted by USAging’s Aging and Disability Business Institute, in partnership with ATI Advisory, speakers covered an overview of the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), a federal funding initiative, administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), established to strengthen and modernize health care in rural communities across the country. Presenters highlighted the role of and opportunities for the aging network, including how many of the goals of the RHTP closely align with the work that Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), community-based organizations (CBOs) and community care hubs (CCHs) do every day, such as whole person health, chronic disease management and network formation and advancement.
