AAAs and Health Plans Partnering in Benefits Counseling and Enrollment

A new publication by the Aging and Disability Business Institute, AAAs and Health Plans Partnering in Benefits Counseling and Enrollment, showcases the success story of a pilot program involving the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging (BCAAA) and the Peninsula Agency on Aging (PAA). The program connected eligible health plan members with counseling and enrollment assistance for public benefits. Supported by the National Council on Aging and the Administration for Community Living, this initiative aimed to enhance partnership experiences and assess whether such partnerships could increase enrollment in programs such as SNAP, MSP, LIS, and LIHEAP among eligible individuals.
