The Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program (MDPP) is a group-based preventative service that Area Agencies on Aging, Centers for Independent Living, community-based organizations (CBOs), Community Care Hubs and networks of CBOs can offer to Medicare beneficiaries at risk of developing type 2 diabetes. MDPP has made several exciting updates in the 2024 Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) aimed at improving access of prediabetes care to underserved communities with a high prevalence of type 2 diabetes and advancing health equity goals through Distance Learning.
USAging’s Aging and Disability Business Institute is partnering with our colleagues at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to highlight these updates through a Lunch and Learn webinar. Join us on June 12 from 12:00-1:00 PM ET to learn more!
